Andrea Burns, DMD

Dr. Andrea Burns completed her dental education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she was one of two students in her class to be awarded the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship. Upon graduation, she chose to further develop her skills in dentistry by completing an advanced practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital. Her time there was well spent as she learned valuable skills such as treating complex dental trauma and managing medically compromised patients.

Dr. Burns frequently donates her time and professional skills by volunteering her dental service here in the United States and abroad. She emphasizes comprehensive dental care and believes that every patient should be treated with empathy and compassion. Dr. Burns is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their two daughters.
